Meet the Founders: Daan & Stan

Every brand starts somewhere. For us, it started with a friendship, an idea, and a decision to just go for it.

We're Daan and Stan, the founders of NoirGrisBlanc. We've known each other since high school, long before NGB became what it is today. Over the years, we've shared plenty of experiences, and eventually, we found ourselves working towards something of our own.

Daan had always wanted to do something in fashion or music. Music, however, wasn't exactly his strongest suit. So, instead of chasing the music, we decided to create something different.

At one point, I simply said: "Fuck it, we're going to make this happen."

And that's where the mindset behind NGB began.

More Than Just Clothing

From the beginning, we wanted NGB to be about more than just the products we create.

Fashion is the foundation, but the bigger idea is to build something people can genuinely feel part of. We don't want people to simply see a collection, like a picture, and move on. We want them to experience what happens behind it.

That's why we approach every collection as a new chapter in our journey.

For each collection, we want to travel somewhere new and bring our audience along. Not just to show the destination or the final campaign, but to share everything that happens along the way.

We get in the car, travel to new places, explore different surroundings, and experience life as it happens. Sometimes we're out shooting content. Other times, we're going for a run, grabbing dinner, or simply enjoying the moment.

Nothing has to be extraordinary all the time. That's the point.

We want to show the real moments in between, because that's what makes the journey feel authentic.

For us, NGB is a chance to turn an idea into something real.

We're two friends who decided to take a chance on a shared vision and see how far we could take it. There's still a lot to learn, plenty of places to discover, and countless ideas we want to bring to life.

That's what makes building this brand exciting.

Every collection gives us a reason to go somewhere new, try something different, and create another chapter in the story we're building together.
